Creative Funk

I was talking to a friend the other day. We have come up with the same problem. We are in a creative funk. I know I have tried everything to get out of it. I spent a day watching YouTube, trying to get ideas. I even went to our local craft stores. And still nothing. I remembered that I had recorded Project Runway. So I started to watch the whole season. And the creative juices starting to flow. So I came up with this tag art. What do you think? We will see what tomorrow will hold. Jodi is having a Art Journal class that I know I will enjoy. She will get me out of this slump I am in. Stay tune to all the beautiful work.

I have just entered my first Challenge. This one was on Ethnic Skin tones. Keep an eye out for it on This is a Digi stamp image. And of course I use copics to color the image.

Ok these are the cards that I did get to work on. The coloring is all done with Copic Markers. Now In search for more stamps that I can color in. Its like being a kid again. Just with better colors.

Alot Going ON

Ok I started this blog and not had a chance to update it. Alot has gone on in the past six months. Over the summer we lost our two fuzzy babies Lady and Hopps. These were my rabbits that my husband flew from Germany. Also this summer I made it to the Stampin Up convention in Utah. It was great. Four days of no kids and dog. I just got to be creative the whole weekend. I made great Friends, a group of wonderful stampers called the Lady bugs. I hope I see them next year. The girls went back to school, which was a nice change. The house was quiet. For a little bit at least. We added a four legged furry baby. Her name is Sasha. She was a pound puppy. Sasha has made a happy addition to our home.
I also discovered Copic markers. Can I tell you these are the best. They have been around for a long time. I had no clue about them. I went to design school and all they talked about was the Prisma Markers. Let me tell you I am making up for lost time. That is all I wanted Santa to bring this Christmas. We will see if he bring them. Well that is what has been going on in a nut shell. I hope for more artful things in the New Year.

Very busy the last couple of weeks.

I shouldn't be blogging right now. I have to get ready for 12 girls to show up for a sleep over. What was I thinking when I said yes to this. I have a demo tomorrow at Color n' Clay in Southern Pines. I got at my samples ready and almost everything cut. Its nice to be able to demo Stampin Up. I don't know where to meet people that like to rubber stamp and scrapbook. I can't use Micheal's that way anymore. Before it was easy since I use to work for them. On a different note. I just found out that the gift shop on Ft Bragg wants to carry my wrapped pendants and my Bears. Well I think I just need to give into the Bears too. I was trying to work my way from them. I have found that people from all over has seen them. I tell you this is a small world. So sewing and wrapping will be by niche. Oh and don't forget scrapbooking and rubber stamping. I guess I need to put them all on here for you to see. Well let me tend to the girls.

My girls are cheerleaders

I am jumping for joy. Both my girls have made the squads for their schools. Now its time for all the fund raising. And I have to find some work to pay for it all. LOL . It seems to cost more and more each year. Well I will have to put my business plan into action. The plan is to go to ladies house that cant get out to get their hair done and to bring the service to them. Tomorrow I have to start the process to get my North Carolina Cosmetology Licence. I hope that wont be to hard. Well let me end it on that note. Will add more later.
